Carephone Landline

The Carephone Landline is a specially designed base unit that sits alongside your normal home telephone and communicates with a DECT pendant that is worn around the neck of the user. With a 100 meter range the pendant has a large, easy to press SOS button in the centre and in the event of a fall or accident around the home or garden can be pressed by the wearer to active a pre-configured SOS sequence.

Once the SOS mode is activated the base unit will call up to 3 pre-configured telephone numbers or will connect directly to our Carephone Emergency Response Centre. Once connected the person wearing the neck pendant can then communicate with another person on the line in order to seek assistance or emergency aid.

We understand that one of the hardest parts of having a family member who is in need of care is staying in touch with them and from their perspective retaining a level of independence can often be of great importance. With a Carephone Landline family members, carers and loved ones can rest assured in the knowledge that anybody under any level of care is no more than then press of a button away from help in the event of an accident.
